In our central library, the writer and teacher Kalina Maleska met with the curious children from the 1st grade of the “Kole Nedelkovski” Primary School – Centar, Skopje and together they held a workshop on the topic “The Princess and the Frog-Friend”. The guests were welcomed by Martina Nikchevska who introduced them to the Children’s Literature Department, the numerous books here and the possibility of membership. After Kalina read and told them the story, the students asked questions, discussed, and then let their imagination run wild, creating beautiful drawings about the friendship between a frog and a princess.
Dear friends, you made our day! You convinced us that no one is too young to read fluently and tell wonderful stories and no one is too old to dream sincerely and childishly. Thanks to the teachers Daniela Apostolska and Anica Tapagjozova for all the curiosity and love for the Book that they pass on to their students. The workshop was part of the Tech Tales with a Twist project. Dear students and teachers, never forget that the library is a safe and secure place for your creativity.
