Mobile library

Mobile traveling library – bibliobus or mobile librarianship, is an adapted vehicle equipped with books intended for students. Since its establishment, the bibliobus has aimed to promote books, provide access to information, develop a reading culture, and cultivate reading habits among children. The bibliobus visits several suburban neighborhoods and villages around Skopje, specifically 19 schools in the villages: Marino, Mralino, Bunardzik, Tekija, Mrshevci, Kuchevishte, Sopishte, Sushica, Orizari, Pripor, Dolno, Sredno and Gorno Konjari, Dobri Dol, Pobozhje, Dolno Sonje, Orman, Chiflik, Lisiche, Trubarevo Volkovo. Students are exempt from any fees for borrowing books. The mobile library operates five days a week, from September to June, and visits schools according to a pre-established schedule. The bibliobus facilitates easier access to books and promotes reading even in locations distant from central libraries and branches.
