Native Department

In the City Library "Brakja Miladinovci", the Native Department occupies a special place and role, where the local history collection is located, which is composed of collected, arranged and professionally processed library materials. The department has monographic and serial publications, collected works by Skopje authors, authors who wrote and write about Skopje, publications relating to Skopje and the surrounding area, the Almanac of the City of Skopje, 1918-1926 (edition 1926), and other significant documents on the history of Skopje, publications published and printed in Skopje, records, articles, brochures, catalogs. All processed bibliographic units are available to anyone who wants to get acquainted with the history, customs and architecture of the city. The department is of a closed type, and members can use the material in the library premises. Working hours: from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:00.
