"Cassaday" is a novel - a fresco about interpersonal divisions and separations, about warfare at the end of which all mothers cry, about the joy of love and the pain of unrequited love, about the dense tangle of destinies that make life complicated, but also exciting and worth living, about the Church and the Court as two harmonious or opposing thrones. And again, and again, the same disturbing question is asked: "Should we burn the old maps of Brdokan to dust and ashes, or, by drawing new maps, banish historical demons and ghosts forever?" And we, as contemporaries, should think about that big drawn question mark.
