Strasho Pindzur

Central library, "Strasho Pindzur"

The “Strasho Pindžur” Library was established in 1946 through the merging of several smaller libraries by the City People’s Committee. It began its library activities with 400 books in a 20-square-meter space. In 1956, the library was declared a municipal library, followed by its designation as the main library for the territory of the then “Kisela Voda” municipality in 1962, and its integration with other independent libraries in 1974.
